How our diet affects our memory...
The mind-intestine connection is so crucial to our emotional wellness. This week in my doctorate studies this was again confirmed as studies show that the brain's functions, including memory loss are affected by the foods we eat.
Researchers at the Medical University of North Carolina found that a diet high in cholesterol and saturated fat impaired memory. This impairment was related to inflammation in the brain caused by the high cholesterol and saturated fat consumption.
